this week was really good! im sure you've all heard about the changes and they are crazy, hard to get used too, but overall i think good. actually one of the changes is actually a huge blessing, we now come home at night and get ready for bed and go to bed so we have 1/2-1 hour extra of sleep! which means we plan for that day in the morning, which is weird and im not a huge fan but ill get used to it. also, we can comp study whenever we want which is cool too. we can come home for lunch whenever we want too but we just keep that the same. also, they changed pday, we get two and half more hours!! p day starts at 8:30 instead of 11:30 and on mondays we only study for half an hour. also, the key indicators changed, we usually count all our lessons and references received but now we only count, investigators baptized, investigators with a baptismal date, investigators that come to church, investigators that are progressing and new investigators. so they are a lot more focused with is good. anyways that was some big news this week and it probably means nothing to you guys but its pretty big to us! also, in this worldwide missionary broadcast, they talked first a lot about the Doctrine of Christ and repentance! basically we can't teach the Doctrine of Christ if we don't live the Doctrine of Christ. and a big part of that is repentance. also, they talked about how we can know we are successful even if we don't always see it and Elder Bednar explained that really, we need to have a long term perspective. if we learn to live the Doctrine of Christ and develop good study habits and learn to really pray, within our future family we will bring generations and generations into the gospel. Elder Bednar is a genius, i read one of his talks this week called something like "and they hushed their fears", and it was soo good, aka read it. also another awesome thing that happened is we saw my favorite little family this week, the cordovas!!!!! so we had our 8 o clock lesson fail last night, aka we set something up and when we went to visit her she just decided not to be home without saying anything!!!, anyways so as our back up plan we decided to go meet with the cordova´s, so we get to their house and we ring their doorbell and nobody answers, ring it again, nobody answers so as we were walking away, just who walked up???? the cordovas!! they invited us in and explained that their grandma isn't doing too well and every sunday they go visit her, she lives like an hour away. and so they can't come to church and during the week its hard to meet with the whole fam, but they said they would start trying to come to classes de ingles!!! we were really excited to see them and they were really excited to see us! so it was good. also did i tell you about linda? she's the mom of a girl in our ward and the girl is the only member in her family so we started teaching her mom! this week we taught plan of salvación and invited her to be baptized and she said she wasn't ready, we left her with 2 refi 31 to read so that we could talk about the doctrine of jesus christ and she read it and she explained to us that she understands she needs to get baptized to have eternal life! she has the desire to get baptized, but she's still a little bit uneasy because she is currently looking for work, poco a poco. those were the exciting things that happened this week. well, love you all and have a good week, hopefully the snow goes away soon!!!!
