D&C 4

Hola querido familia,

This week and a half has been crazyyy. A lot has happened, good and
bad. So here we gooo. So tuesday, we met with Rosi, she has recently
quit smoking and we committed to her to baptism!! She is very excited
and lots of desires to follow Christ. Wednesday we met with 2 new
investigators!!! We found one on the streets, Valentin, he is very
religious and family is important to him and Kennedy was a reference
from other missionaries, he is a cool guy and seems open to what we
have to say! And that night we met with Luis and his wife which was
good, they are really cool people and Luis reads everyday in the Book
of Mormon😎. Thursday afternoon we did intercambios but hermana
Hinton came to Leganés with me while HP went to b3 so that was
different and fun! We met with the Cordovas that night and we taught
the plan of Salvacion and they loved it! It was a pretty slow night
other than that, nobody was home Thursday or Friday but it was Kings
day (which is like our Christmas, it's a huge holiday). Friday was
fine, Saturday we ate lunch with a member and she gave us PIG EAR 👂.
it was in a soup and it tasted kinda weird and then she told us that
it's ear and when I heard that I was done. Luckily the water pitcher
was emptied and I asked for more and while she was gone I gave it all to
the elders hehehe one of my slyest switches. Sunday after church we
ate with another member, she fed us Paella 🥘, paella is ok, hers though had whole shrimp, with the eyes and everything lucky for me the elders loved it and took mine hehehe.
Monday night we had a pancake night with the family we spent Christmas
with, it was yummy! 😋 yesterday we had zone conference! It was really
good, President and Hermana Pack are really inspiring! We talked about
repentance, and how extending commitments helps our people repent and
we talked about working with the jas. It was really good and they got
us papa johns hehehe. Also, we called the Cordovas yesterday to see if
we could meet with them tonight, Wednesday night, like we usually do
and they told us with school starting they don't really have
time😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I won't give up on them though! Anyways, that's a
low down of this week, the rest of our week is packed full so it
should be another good one!! Love you all!!!! Have a good week, enjoy
