D&C 11:20

¡Hola familia!

Let me tell you this week and a half have been crazyyyyy. So up until
Friday it was pretty normal. We had some really good lessons with
recent converts and investigators, basically poco a poco with them!
But Friday we had the opportunity to serve!!!!((serving on the mission
is the best idk)) anyways, so friday from 12-6 we volunteered at a
food bank(there was supposed to be 6 missionaries but nobody else
showed so it was just me and HW helping). Anyways so all day we were
filling people's shopping bags with free food! It was actually really
fun but super tiring-lots of lifting. I was really grateful for the
opportunity to serve and it was a great opportunity to share the
gospel because the people in charge were just some random people who
were really interested in what we were doing here as missionaries! And
then Friday night we get home, getting ready for bed when we get a
call from the Elders. They forgot the keys and had locked themselves
out of the piso. So they needed our key to the church. Yes Friday
night the Elders spent the night in the church hahahahahahaha. And
then Saturday was just normal, well we went to the church in the
morning to do something and there were some jas setting up for a party
and they needed help, another opportunity to serve! And then Saturday
night we were on the renfe(above ground metro) and we came to our stop
and I got off but HW got confused and didn't get off we were seperated
for a couple minutes, good thing we had a comp bond because I just
stayed put while she caught a renfe back it was really scary but we're
both ok haha. And then Sunday was stake conference(spain is really
good at not ending reunions on time). And Sunday night, another
opportunity to serve! The relief society has a sister who's brother is
in the hospital so we all went to visit him and then we went to the
spiritual homecoming party of a missionary in our ward, and it was
really spiritual it was awesome, I wish more people had gone.
Jeison(the rm) talked about how he was menos activo before the
mission, but one day the missionaries stopped him on the street and
that's when he became scared for the  welfare of his soul. I couldn't
believe he was ma at one point in his life, he is sooo strong now! It
strengthened my testimony of menos activo work and the plan of
Salvacion. A couple of other people spoke about how his example has
blessed their lives, it was really good. Monday we saw a not pday
miracle! So the other day we were waiting at the bus stop and this
guys walks up and he's like "Mormons?" and I was like "oh great here we go
again" πŸ™„ but turns out he's taken the discussions in his country and
so we met with him Monday and he is so excited to meet with the
missionaries again! He asked us to reactivate him! So that was
basically our crazy week, it was a super fun week and the temple was
awesome today! Well love you all lots!!!!
