This week I had two cool experiences. First I saw a miracle, a miracle
of God's timing. So there is a less active lady named Soledad and she
lives far away from us kinda by the church and one day we were at the
church and our lesson failed and we didn't know what to do so we
decided to stop my Soledad cause we were out there already! We had
tried like once before and she wasn't home and we can never get a hold
of her. So we walked to her house and rang her piso and her son popped
his head out the window and he said his moment was home and right as
he was supposed to pull his head back in a lady came waving down the
street Soledad! This was a miracle because neither of us have met
Soledad so if she wasn't waving at her son, we would have never known
it was her! And like two seconds would have made a difference, like so
perfect was the timing. Another story, we had a lesson with Omar,
remember him? But we went over and he was like I prayed and I haven't
received an answer. He said, I said God is the Mormon church true and
then I payed in my bed for one, two, three, four even five minutes and
no answer! He also told us he was expecting something like Joseph
smith or something so we explained to him. But Omar is really cool and
I am praying for the best for him! We haven't had the chance to meet
with Yanet this week but sad story, Loli's husband won't let us come
over anymore! Juan Carlos and his family want to move to america
because they just aren't doing well in Spain I guess and they asked us
for help and we don't know what we can do to help them so I'm worried
about what's gonna happen, I will continue to pray for them! We met
with Deisy, finally, this week! She didn't come to church but she
wants to meet with us this week! Soledad came to church too! Omar
couldn't but we will keep trying!
We had exchanges this week so I was in Santiago with a sister training
leader and let's just say, because of that I love a Coruña even more.
There is just not a lot of work in Santiago and only 30 people in the
branch. One of which is Tyler haws. So that's cool other than that
it's just a lot of finding and the people there really aren't nice. I
had fun with Hermana Bingham but glad to be in Coruña.
This week I learned that my natural man is a lot stronger than me. I
am just really disappointed in myself this week. Whenever I was cold
or hot or hungry or tired of walking or mad cause I don't know Spanish I would always be in a bad mood and just not want to work. I would be lazy and in a bad mood and unhappy. Because of this I was unhappy a lot this week and really wondering if I am "missionary material" or if I can even do this and be successful because I didn't have the spirit with me at all this week and we all
know you are unsuccessful without the spirit. I am really grateful for
general conference because how many talks talked about how we can be
forgiven and that no matter what God loves us. I am grateful for Jesus
Christ and the atonement and the power I have to overcome last week
and try hard this week and make it better.
Today for pday we went to like the top of the city or something, idk
what it's called but we saw all of the ocean and a Coruña and it was
beautiful! There was also some huge cannons up there that were pretty
cool. Maybe you could google them or something because idk what they
are called but they were cool!
Love you all so much!!!! Say your scriptures and say your prayers!
