Happiness is the destination but it's also the path.

¡hola familia!

Como estan?  Well this week was really good! I have lots
in my brain I don't want to forget and so I am just gonna write what
comes to my head so I don't forget anything-sorry if it's a little
scattered.

First we had interviews in our piso and president pack took some
pictures and put them on Facebook so look up Cindy pack and then
pictures of me!!!!!(if you can't find them I have them but it is just
funny to see me on hermana packs Facebook) also interviews went really
well and they were very impressed with our piso. Also we have this
family, a mom and two girls and they are kinda menos activo so we
visit them lots(like ones a week) so we are good friends and they
invited us over for lunch and made us pancakes and bacon and eggs and
it was the best thing ever!!!!!!!(see pictures) also we had
intercombios this week and I worked with hermana Melton and I just
love her!! She is so cute and I learned so much from her!!!! One thing
I loved, you guys should try, is you watch the Thanks to Him video and
watch for the phrase or video that sticks out to you and then you talk
about it! It's super cool, everytime I watch it I learn something new,
just from the the phrase I chose or from somebody else! It's a
awesome, TRY IT. also Alejandra passed her interview and is getting
baptized Saturday!!!!!!! She is so excited and we are all so excited
for her!!!!!!!! She went contacting with us the other day and holy cow
she was a pro!!!!!! The first person she contacted she gave a Book of
Mormon to and she just testified and people just couldn't say no to
her! She is amazing! Also lots of pics this week and a nice video😉
anyways love you all lots!!!!!!

If at first you don't succeed, shut up. Succeed!
¡Hola Familia!

IM BEING TRANSFERRED! I can't believe it. My heart
is breaking. I do not want to leave A Coruña. But, it's the Lord's
will and I can have what I want or I can have something better. I
mean, I'm excited, just sad all at the same time. I am going to b8
(Barrio 8, the ward names in Madrid are like barrio 1-10 so like lakes
would be ward 1, candy mountain would be ward 2 if that makes sense)
good news and bad news, they meet in the church right next to the
temple(good news) and its right by the mtc too(bad news, I already
have been around there a lot and it will probably just make me miss
the mtc and HR even more!) so basically the center of Madrid. Right
now, Madrid is like +40 degrees Celsius, aka it's like 110 everyday. I
might die. I am with Hermana weever( American) who was HH's companion
in the mtc! I have yet to meet her, but have heard good things about
her! Anyways, it should be a sweaty, good time.

As for my week, it was a pretty good week! We had some service
opportunities this week. First off, one of the newly baptized lady in
our ward moved and she needed to clean up her piso. So all afternoon
Wednesday, all 6 of us missionaries in A Coruña, scraped mold off her
walls and repainted her piso. It was definitely an experience. I was
happy to help, I love serving! Also yesterday, another lady in our
ward was moving and she need help so we helped her pack up her stuff.
Yay, love service!!!! It was fun and it's always nice to do something
like totally different every once in a while!

As for the other work this week, we met this cool guy named Fernando
in the streets the other day and we met with him. He is like 60 and
he's pretty cool. We taught him the plan of Salvacion because he had
questions about all that and he was very interested. We also met this
other guy named Mario on the street one day and we met with him and
his wife this week. They are from Uruguay and super nice, they gave us
fresh squeezed orange and carrot juice, it was really good!! Maybe
Macy can drink that on her diet. Mario is open to new ideas but the
wife is Catholic and she says our religion is very beautiful, she
likes the things we teach but she's Catholic. That's something I don't
understand, people say that this gospel is beauty of and they know
it's true but they don't change.

Here's a funny more like traumatic story. don't let small children
read unless you want to explain what a prostitute is. So one time HC
and I were in a bathroom and this lady was like who are you guys what
are you doing and we were explaining and when we left HC was like that
was a prostitute, so then like a couple week later we saw her in the
street and we were like hi how are you being nice Misioneras. And then
yesterday HH and I saw her and she was like hi guess what I'm happy I
found love. And she was like do you guys have somebody to love and we
were like no and she was like that's cause you walk around looking
like nuns you gotta wear the short skirts like this and she
lifted up my skirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I felt violated and I think I need to
burn those garments now that a prostitute saw them.

Love you all lots!!!! Have a good week and dad have a good birthday!!!!

¡Hola familia!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!💥❤️💙❣

Well, my week was better! Monday night our lessons failed, I think I
am just going to have to expect busy people in the summer, so we were
off contacting. As we were making our way back home, I asked a lady if
she needed help with her groceries. She said YES (a miracle by itself).
Anyways, so we were walking and carrying her groceries and talking and
she is from Brazil and has never heard of The Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints or the Book of Mormon! So we got to her
piso(apartment) and she invited us in and it was 10 and we have to be
home by 10:30 so we really quickly just explained the Book of Mormon
to her and gave her one and she was so excited!!!! So we are excited
to visit with her again!

Another crazy thing that happened to me is I went into my first gypsy
house! So whenever you teach a lesson we have these papers you have to
fill out, like what you taught and how it went, more about the person
and not everybody you teach gets baptized so we have binders of all
these sheets of people who have been taught at least once by the
missionaries. So we found a family that sounded good to pass by and so
we did. And the family was home(miracle!!!) and they were gypsies!
They were very nice but they speak Romanian because they are from
Romania so we have to teach very simply. Also they kept talking to
each other in Romanian in front of us hopefully not about us.

Other than that, this week was pretty normal. One of our menos activos
asked us for a chocolate chip cookie recipe but we only have a brownie
recipe so we gave her the recipe and made her brownies and they turned
out pretty good!!! As for the weather here, it's either super sunny
and hot or its cloudy and humid. Basically either way I just sweat all
the time. At least it stopped raining! But yes I carry around a water
bottle and fasting was so hard without water but yet again, I
survived. Well that's about all for this week. Wishing you guys a fun
filled week and enjoy your Fourth of July! Love you all
lots!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
