Hola Familia!
I'm trying to find a word to describe my week without being negative... Well let me just tell you about it. We had lessons set up all week AND THEY ALL
FAILED(not robel though because he is cool). So we basically just
contacted on the streets all week and if I didn't know A Coruña
before, I do now!!!! Contacting is fun but when that's all you do all
day, all week, it's gets kinda old. Also, Spain is not as Catholic as
everybody thinks. There are two kinds of people in A Coruña. Old
people, who are so Catholic that they just look at you and run away or
the rising generation people, that are so atheist!!! You
mention religion to either of these people and they are gone. Also,
there is a third group of people and its the homeless and gyspy people
that you just don't talk to. Anyway sometimes contacting is fun,
getting to know the people and everything but rejection after
rejection it gets hard and I just don't feel successful contacting all
day, idk. Like we get people's number on the street, set up a lesson
just for them not to show up! Anyways, missionaries with experience
what helped you contact? ANYBODY have any advice to keep contacting
fun, to get people to stop? The Elders did have a baptism this week,
that was cool! Robel came! And he came to church! He is going places!
But with the elders baptism, the people getting baptized were a
single mom and her two kids, they were half an hour late! We were all
scared they were ditching, but it happened and the spirit was there!!!
As for our other investigators, Jose and Julio failed us twice. And
Alberto said he wants to see us but there are problems he needs to
take care. I did read some talks this week, I think were meant
especially for this week. Elder Wirthlin's "come what may and love it"
and President Monson's "find joy in the journey". Both great talks from
October 2008!!! Anyways, praying for lessons this week and excitement
for contacting!!!! Hope everybody continues to have a good summer!!!
Oh also it's not easy contacting when it's hot and sunny and everybody
is going to the beach, but keeping a positive attitude!!!! Anyways,
enjoy your summer!!! Read your scriptures, say your prayers and study

is a talk about members using preach my gospel in October you guys
should read and then read it to every member!!!!!!
¡Hola familia!
Como estan? How is summer going??? This week was pretty normal. No squid or ceviche,
thank goodness😅 there was nothing else super exciting. We did have a
miracle this week, though!! The other day we were meeting with Robel
and we invited him to church and he was like what time? And we said
10. And he was like oh I can't go I have mesa(I have no clue how to
spell it but Catholic Church) at 11, and then there was like a little
pause of silence and then he said mira, manana no voy a mesa(look,
tomorrow I won't go to Mesa) when I heard tomorrow I won't go, I was
really sad but then he finished with Mesa and I COULDNT CONTAIN MY
EXCITEMENT!!! And he came to church and liked it and likes meeting
with us, and things are going good with him😊👍🏽 also, we got three
new investigators YESTERDAY. wOw. One guy we found on the street and
the other we found in our area book(like a record of all the people
ever taught by missionaries) and he brought a friend and he was
interested, so we got three yesterday!! So far, things are really good
with HH, she is a really good missionary and really fun to work with!!
For pday today, our washing machine broke and we don't have our duenos
number and it has been broken for a week so we hand washed clothes today😅
Weather this week has been really iffy, one day it's like super hot and the next
day it's like humid and rainy😬 we have zone conference Wednesday, I'm
super excited!! Anyway love you all!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️ have a good week and

¡Hola Familia!¿Como estan? I hope everybody had a good week, let me just tell you
about my week of TENDER MERCIES!!!😛🤗😊 first, Wednesday we had zone
conference, which was really good, and I got a package!!!! Thank you
soooo much!!! Loved my necklace, nice pick Davis😉 and love my
headbands and peanut butter!!!!!! And tide to go and yoga!!!!! We have
been doing yoga everyday for exercises, loved it, thank you! Also got
a letter with the despicable me picture!!! We also had intercombios
this week and so we went to Santiago. And the sister training leaders
piso is moldy and for right now they are not allowed to stay in it so
they are staying with the couple missionary that are serving in
Santiago tambien. So we stayed with them too. And guess what they made
us for breakfast, PANCAKES. oh my goodness I was in HEAVEN, she made
syrup to go with them too. That was just the best oh and the grilled
cheese she made us when we came in the night before was good too😛😛
the Bakes are a literal blessing, sooo grateful for them👍🏽 also our
washing machine is fixed😅 as for lessons this week, we met with Robel
and he is really progressing! We had a member help us, she is from
Africa too, and I think that helped him a lot! Because she is a
convert and she knows what it's like. Also, our Dominican friend Juana
said she will get baptized because she knows it's true when she feels
ready😃😃😃 did I tell you the story about Juana? One day we were
contacting and she was like I'm in a hurry but I want to talk to you,
I live in that piso I'm number 4. So one day we passed by and she was
prepared, didn't I tell you this week was full of tender
mercies/miracles😋 speaking of Dominican, how is Jacob doing?
Dominicans are the NICEST people ever and I hope he realizes that. For
weather this week, it just rained🙃 one day we were getting tan lines
the next it literally poured. I thought tri cities weather was
crazy🙃🙄 our other new investigators, Jose and Julio failed us(set up
a lesson and they didn't show)😪 and Alberto couldn't meet this week
but is looking forward to meeting with us this week!! All in all, this
week was awesome, I don't have any reason not to be happy😊😊😊 all
smiles in A Coruña😄

¡Hola Familia!
This week, wow. I learned a lesson about lying. NEVER EVER LIE.
Remember menos activo Soledad? Well we haven't met with her for like
five weeks and the other day she was at the church from the interview
and so we walked home together and she was talking to us and we got
talking about food from Peru and she was like i like cooking ceviche
and I was like oh I tried it the other day and I love it!!! And she's like ok come over tomorrow at 3 and I'll make you ceviche. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH NEVER AGAIN WILL I LIE BECAUSE I HAD TO GAG IT DOWN. Moral of the story don't lie. Next day, we asked this lady in our ward if she wanted to pass by a menos activa in our ward because we had never met her and she ended up not being home and she was like what are you doing for lunch? And we were like going home and she was like eat with me! And we were like ok!!! And we went and it
was..SQUID. IT WAS SO DISGUSTING. she was like do you like it and I
was like no. (I felt really bad but it was really horrible) and she
made me rice and eggs, I felt really bad, I am going to write her a
note and make her brownies but it was NASTY. if I die it's because I
ate more ceviche and then squid. 😭😫😝
My new companion, she is different from HC that's for sure, but so far
so good. She likes to work with the members and so if we had a big chunk of time this week we would go visit a family. And wow!! I love that! And people love us!!! And this whole time I expected people to just hand us references but you have to work WITH the members. Because like all the families we visit are
like oh yeah we have this friend, you want to do a noche de
hogar(family home evening) at our house and we can invite them? So far
I love working with Hermana Hinton!!! I think this transfer will be a
good one!!
As far as investigators, we met with Robel this week and he said, I
have a Leg in the Mormon church, once I get my whole body, baptize me!
We talked more about the first lesson and profetas(because that's what
he was stuck on) and I think he really understood and it went realLy
well!! He is very receptive to what we have to say and I think things
could go well with him. As far as other people, Romanian guy, I don't
think we are allowed back we talked to him and he said he didn't know.
Hmm... This week flew by. As far as weather, it's heating up and
getting really humid. I think I will be done with the the tights! That
was my week... For pday we cleaned in the morning and idk what we are
doing after email..😶 anyways, until next week!!!! Love you all! Work
hard and ENJOY YOUR SUMMER!😊😊😊😊😊
