Fasting from junk food to be able to learn Spanish :)

woooowww so many people emailed me this week. its ok though because nothing really happened this week. the park was good, my companion was a girl going to russia so she spoke no spanish so it was all on me!!!! scary.. anyways with my limited spanish i was able to tell people i have a gift for them and they take it and i hope they read it!! but i also had a cool experience..i met a guy who spoke english and he was asking weird questions like polygamy and stuff and so he didnt want anything cause he was Catholic but we were able to testify about our church and clear up weird things about the church.. we planted the seed for now.

the real madrid soccer stadium was soooooooooo cooooooool. i wish i was better at soccer. i would suggest putting macy and davis in soccer for physical activity so they don't embarrass themselves because every time they try to kick the ball they miss. my advice for the week..  i got my first mai!!! it was from ashley.. i am anticipating moms letter but come on people it only costs 1.33 to make my day!!!!! also  letters are better because i just skim emails and i get to have letters forever.

actually this week i am so desperate to learn spanish i showed Heavenly Father how desperate i was i went 24 hours without chocolate and junk food!! it was so hard let me tell ya but then we had interviews with president and my fast was answered. i told him i felt like i wasnt progressing and he said well i can tell you are very smart, hahahahahahah, but he said i need to start memorizing 25 words a day and 8 verb tenses lol my fast was answered in a very humbling way and i dont have time to come up with words or even memorize but if he said it will help i will work that hard because i want to know spanish. also funny story i was teaching my teacher that is our investigator about Christ's life on earth and i was trying to tell the miracle of Jesus feeds the 5000 and i realized i didnt know how to say "fed" so i said "ate"..Jesus ate the 5000. her eyes went wide and i realized that i probably scared her!!!!!!! sorry i dont have lots to write just studying and teaching! today we are going to tour more of madrid and get chocloate churros for pday i am beyond excited hehe. love you alll sooooo veryyyy much!!! you guys are the best ever!!!!

Hola Familia!

 

Well, i loveeeee the CCM and my district and my companion! This week in the CCM we received people who already know Spanish here for the rest of the time with us, a girl from Provo got her visa so the trio was split up and Hermana Howell left.  Me and Hermana Reidhead work soooo well together and have soo much fun together!!! Being a companionship is soooo much better than a trio i didn't even realize how hard it was!!! But we are soarin! I'm trying to be patient with Spanish cause i just want to know it but i also know it takes time!!! Pday was sooo fun! I didn't know there was more to Spain than just a classroom! Don't worry im still sassy. We just went and toured the Catholic Cathedral - creepy, we saw the palace thingy, has over 3000 rooms i wanted to go in but didnt have enough time, one day for pday though! and some egyptian pyramid thats a cool story but the thingy itself wasnt very cool. it was fun to see the country and get out! 

Oh my goodness, this is how well me and Hermana Reidhead go together.. the other day we were sitting and studying and she turns to me and says "we are HR´s" (human resources), "we are toby" from the office. That is not a compliment but i died laughing cause "The Office". 

Nothing really exciting has happened, just class. Today we are going to the Real Madrid soccer field, im excited!! tell Connor Bell - he will be jealous. 

Well, just know i am good! and i am growing, physically and spirtually! lol

The park was good this week - 4 Book of Mormons and 2 referrals!!!  We went to the temple today, in english. Any ways love you guys!!!!! take care!!!!!!!!!!!

Hola Familia!

YO GIRL HERMANA ROBERTSON WENT  TO THE  PARK SATURDAY FOR 2 HOURS WITH ZERO SPANISH AND GAVE OUT 6 BOOK OF MORMONS! the park was amazing this week, i followed the Spirit, and trusted in the Lord and my oh my the work is true! i did work with Hermana Kealm and Pratt this week we are basically the dream team, we killed it, hopefully all those people acted on the feeling they felt because i know they felt something. Anyways, fast Sunday wasnt as bad as i thought it was going to be,  we had lunch saturday to lunch sunday and it was fine.  I, however was blessed on monday as we had chocolate churros for breakfast and gelato for dinner, yes it was delicious, yes i am fat, yes I am happy. hearing from you guys last week was bomb and im pretty much over my homesickness, Sunday was just hard because no waffles but i will get over it. our fake investigator committed to baptism, woohoo. i am actually enjoying the ccm (MTC) even though it is all class, i just try to remember that it is making me a better missionary and that's what i want so i work hard and i know the blessings will come. i feel like i am starting to improve my spanish, i need to start working harder though still. soccer is so fun except i am so bad... i should have practiced more. 7 new missionaries came this week from Provo because they are waiting on their visas but my group that i came in with is awesome and like everybody said i have made life long friends. i love them all we have tons of fun together. today i went to the temple in English, next week i think i will make the jump to Spanish. today we actually get to go out to Madrid and explore and tour and i am excited for that!

They have fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast sometimes and its really good. Pres packer told us his house in cali is next to steph curry, like steph curry is in his ward boundaries! why hasn't he converted him? couldn't tell ya.  i hope you guys have good weather because it is cold here and rainy. its rainy today, esta bien. Sister Packer said she was going to try to get fb up so keep watching for that.  Other than all that, nothing else really has happened, just class after class,

How is everyone???  I am good   i am very homesick  but i should have expected it because i have the BEST FAMILY EVER!!!! its good to finally email home, its only been a little over one week and feels like forever! Probably because all we do is sit in a classroom as big as my room  alllll dayyyy it gets really tiring and boring and hard to stay awake. I am in a trio i dont know why. It is hard. one of my companions is hermana howell, she is 21. My other companion i really like, hermana reidhead. She is also from utah, she is 24 she went to dixie and says she recognizes kelci cause she lived in avalon, her first name is lexi. she is very nice. i just lost half of my email so sorry if there are missing parts. The food at the ccm (MTC) is pretty good, sometimes i dont know what im eating which is scary but sometimes the food is amazing. i told davis about my favorite thing to eat here (chocolate muffins with chocolate filling), ive only had it once though. Lunch is HUGE breakfast is tiny and dinner is regular. Usually meat with everything. The other day they served pallea or whatever and it had octupus and squid and clams and shrimp i tried the clams and shrimp not the other things, maybe next time i will be adventureous. They also have very good fresh fruit here. There are lots of languages taught here actually. ten italians were here for two weeks and left tuesday for the field and then another american group just left for spain, like my group. Right now there are two french couples here for a week and two portugal sisters and elders for three weeks headed to portugal. its always changing the teachers here are amazing. sooooo sooo soo nice. most of them are returned missionaries which helps. Our fake investigator belives in  the pope, so thats hard kinda. but i will study it out. on saturdays we go to the park for two hours to proselyte. i was companions with hermana holjholdt from denmark she was amazing i will explain later aboout the park becuase there is alot. I dont have stamps and dont know where to buy them but i bought some from sister packer cause she has some but not alot so i  will send a letter soon and then who knows when. we went to the temple this morning all in English, so pretty. it is beautiful inside and out. i am going to get fat because i eat a lot of food and not a lot of exercise. we get like 50 min for physical activity i played soccer and basketball but its hard  because the courts are so crowed with missionaries. there is an elder here that is 7 feet tall he dunked it six times the other day, his name is brandon morely he said he played in nebraksa but i think at like a smaller school. the weather here is perfect golfing weather, shorts and light jacket, ah perfecto. i wish i could go golfing.  we were gonna go get choco churros today but we have to get our identification cards instead we went last thursay but our visas arent until the 31 of jan so we dont get pday today or last thursdAy but at least we got the temple and email! i brought the wrong kinda batteries for my clock, and i wish i brought stamps and envelopes thats about it. my blow dryer doesnt work sad but my flat iron works great although not a lot of time because i sleep right up till 630 because i am so tired. i adjusted rather well to the time difference. just tired alllll the timeeeee. esta bien. they have vaccuums here for my vaccuum bags which is good. my mind is moving 10000000 miles an hour so sorry if i missed anything. i just am so excited to email because i miss all of you.  i feel like my spanish is progressing. i feel like im in miss lariveres class again, stinks because i want to learn. ask anything you want i will try to gather my thoughts better and i probably wont have as much to say because just classroom allllllllll weeeeeeek. i feel like i have been in here for months and months. well sorry if i forgot anything and if its confusing and i am typing really fast so sorryy about my grammer and spelling. love you all so mcuh i will try to stop being homesick praying for you guys and praying for golfing weather for you guys. go bombers. the church is true. read your scriptures say your prayers heavenly father loves you
